C4D Focus/Experience

I am especially interested in participatory communication and the creation of community media that can contribute to the self-organisation of disempowered communities in order to take control over their lives and escape vulnerability situations.


Role

I am currently establishing myself as a freelance participatory video practitioner in collaboration with other colleagues establishing a voluntary organisation. I have great interest in starting to work as a freelance researcher and consultant.

    Hey starting out is a good and valud place to be, and networking is the best way to get out and about and learn who is around, so its a good thing to join C4D, so I encourage you to come to the events and don't be shy. We have C4D lunch this weds (last weds of the month) at British Library on the second floor outside the restaurant entrance, you are most welcome to come along, it starts around 12.30 and is very informal. then of course there are those other events planned - the dinner on the 29th and then the christmas party on the 3rd, i am exhausted alreadyt, cheers J
