Ethnomusicology, with additional experience in mass media production. Summary. Ethnomusicologist - Cultural Researcher. Many ethnomusicologists have reported that African people and their cultures have methods to deal with social, health and governance problems communicated in their performance arts. However, these methods are overlooked by the developers who have a tendency to categorise them as entertainment. My research has explored ways of people using these cultural tools during participatory action research (PAR).
