C4D Focus/Experience
I'm the Programme Assistant of the WHO led Somali Health Cluster that coordinates emergency health interventions in the country. I'm also in charge of communication in South Central which entails many duties that involve capturing the voices of the health actors and communities, proposing solutions and acting on them. I also make presses releases and draft the cluster bulletin. At a professional level, I closely follow how communications changes the perceptions of communities and also empowers others in making positive changes and how the availability of information transform communities.
