C4D Focus/Experience

I have worked in international development for ten years, and I am a trained health professional specialising in maternal and child health. I worked as the Executive Director of Straight Talk Foundation in Uganda for one year, which is an organisation established to use communication for social change models in mass media, using print, radio and face to face approaches, for HIV prevention and promotion of adolescent sexual and reproductive health.I was recently working as a senior research and evaluation advisor with World Vision Australia, working with remote service delivery providers in five sites across Australia.

Role

I am currently a technical advisor, providing support to Australia Program projects staff at WVA. Our projects include Indigenous early childcare and development, youth leadership projects, working with government and faith and Indigenous development.
