C4D Focus/Experience

I am currently a postgraduate student in Social and Public Communication (MSc) at the Institute of Social Psychology, London School of Economics. During my studies I developed an interest for communication for development; and also undertook an internship with the BBC World Service Trust, where I worked on several media projects in developing and transitional countries, mainly within the health, climate change, and civil society areas. Academically, I am interested in how insights from developmental and social psychology (for example relating ideas about child cognitive development to the context of adult communication and social influence) can be applied to communication for development.
