C4D Focus/Experience
I specialise in the areas of Political Economy of Development and Communication for Development (C4D) with a particular interest in issues around growth and inequality, governance, aid, climate change, gender and minority rights. Research and communication are essential stages of effective development strategies and policies. In depth and rigorous research, both qualitative and quantitative, and communication are key to develop paths for development that are relevant and context-based. In addition to research and policy analysis in international development, my work involves quantitative and qualitative research to specifically inform (formative research) or assess (M&E) the use of communication and media in development policies and projects (C4D). I’m also particularly interested in participatory methods both as research and development tools.
