C4D Focus/Experience

I am a Monitoring and Evaluation and Gender Consultant with 8 years of relevant experience, and currently live in Nairobi, and work in the Horn of Africa for different INGOs and governments. I holds an MSc in Gender and Research from the London School of Economics, an MA in Social Anthropology from The University of Edinburgh, and has conducted final evaluations baseline surveys, mid-term evaluations, gender mainstreaming assessments and gender impact analysis in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia. I have published on gender and M&E for the Somalia Cash Consortium, Lexington Press and the Oversees Development Institute. I am interested in developing professional relationships, and learning from other specialists working in development and humanitarian aid. Sits on two UN working groups, specifically related to Somalia, speak conversational Kiswahili and am looking forward to communicating with other professional at the upcoming event on 8th June in Nairobi.
