C4D Focus/Experience
Currently, I work as head of social communication in Novact. Before that, I was working as part of communication department in Nova (a catalan NGO that works on alternatives to capitalism system) and I was volunteering in Amnesty International on communication department, as well. I studied Journalism degree and a Master on International Cooperation and Communication. I am focused on communication for social change and alternative media. Moreover, I amb working to get more experience on nonviolence communication and journalism for peace. I have experience on improve NGOs communication using Internet social networks, not only to the local people, but also in cooperation and development projects.
Role
Novact- International Institute for Nonviolent Action. Promotes international Peacebuilding actions in conflict situations. The Institute has been created through the efforts of the international civil society to contribute to a peaceful, just, fair and dignified world. Through a global network of experts and activists in the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia, the Institute supports nonviolent movements working for change and social transformation and develops third party nonviolent interventions to protect vulnerable communities in conflict situations.
