C4D Focus/Experience
I am currently the Regional Communications Manager for Plan International in Asia, supporting and guiding communications teams in 14 countries around Asia in their external communications and C4D work in relation to child rights and sustainable poverty alleviation. Prior to this, I was the Communication for Development Coordinator with UNICEF Pakistan, supporting nearly 30 staff to align and strengthen C4D activities. This work encompassed coordination and support for behaviour change communication, social mobilisation and advocacy on issues ranging from education, WASH, maternal and child health, polio, routine immunisation, child labour, child marriage, trafficking, birth registration and abuse and violence through to mine risk education and work with children with disabilities.
