http://emilylerouxrutledge.blogspot.co.uk Emily LeRoux-Rutledge is a research consultant and PhD candidate at the London School of Economics specializing in international development and media research. She has been working as a C4D researcher since 2004, most recently as Research Manager for BBC Media Action (formerly the BBC World Service Trust), where she spent five years conducting research in more than 20 countries across Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. She currently works part-time as a freelance research consultant. Her clients include BBC Media Action, Panos, InterMedia, Internews and the Thomson Reuters Foundation. She has evaluated the impact of media development and communication for development projects across a wide range of themes, including: • Maternal & Child Health • Women's Empowerment • HIV/AIDS • Malaria • Education • Governance & Elections • Climate Change The countries she has worked in include Bangladesh, Cambodia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, India, Kenya, South Africa, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania and Uganda. Emily holds an MSc in Social and Public Communication from the London School of Economics, and is currently perusing a PhD there. She speaks fluent English and French.
