Internationally recognised senior communications expert with 30+ years managerial experience gained working in more than 80 countries with international organisations, national governments, private sector, and trade unions, including World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations, and Government of Canada. Advise cabinet ministers, heads of state and national governments on developing integrated communications strategies for major economic and sector reforms and other critical development issues. Design, develop, and implement global, regional, international, and national integrated communications programs; designed and delivered training in 30+ countries. Innovative and entrepreneurial: developed markets for new development communications products and services; leveraged institutional budgets (10/1) through donor trust funds and co-funding arrangements with international development partners; developed partnerships, including with private sector. Strong strategic communications leadership and judgement: director of media relations and spokesperson during global and national crises, emergencies, and armed conflicts. Globally recognised pioneer and leader on strategic development communications for international development and reform programs; widely published; invited speaker at 40+ universities, international development agencies, and private companies across Australia, Canada, Europe, and USA, including London School of Economics, Oxford, Cambridge, Georgetown, George Washington, and Harvard universities, and the NATO Defence College (Italy).
