C4D Focus/Experience

In my previous work, I was mandated to support an HIV/AIDS prevention program to develop communication strategies; communicate regularly about project activities; collect, write and edit success stories; assist the project team to improve their communication abilities; and support local civil society organizations partnered with the project in their communications (media relations, community mobilization activities and events). However within my organization and in Cameroon as a whole, the added-value of communication in development projects, especially with the use of media, is undermined and I am currently seeking ways (further education, capacity building, etc) to enhance skills in C4D incorporating it in development projects. I am currently studying at the University of East Anglia, an MA in Media and International Development
