I'm a Media and Communications for Development specialist, with 20 years of professional experience including 10 years based in Zimbabwe. I design, implement, monitor and evaluate communications interventions as well as assessing and building the capacity of media professionals and institutions. I have expertise in applying behavioural science and evidence to media outputs including radio, print and video, using a range of tools to bridge understanding between health and media professionals. I've supported the creation and management of several HIV/AIDS-related entertainment-education projects in southern Africa (Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe). Now co-Director of iMedia Associates which seeks to integrate mobile telephony and social media with broadcast and print media to enhance voice and accountability, with a focus on fragile and conflict-affected areas.
