2007 - 2011: I spent 5 years working as Senior Consultant and Country Manager with Africa Practice, a strategic communications consultancy specialising in African market - based in London (1yr), Kenya (1.5yrs) and Tanzania (2 years ) where I established a new office for the Group. In this role, I co-ordinated the inaugural East Africa CSR Awards as a side event to WEF Africa 2011; developed communications strategy for Tanzanian NGO, REPOA (Research for Poverty Alleviation, Tanzania); internal communication for World Bank Tanzania; PR for launch of France Telecom/Orange in Kenya; brokered partnership between WWF and Tanzanian mining Industry; as well as corporate communications for range of private clients including Multichoice Africa, Tanzania Chamber of Mines, Western Union, Radio France Internationale. In 2012, I became certified Associate of the International Business Leaders Forum Partnership Initiative - seeking to facilitate collaboration between private and public sector to address complex social challenges. Also I completed freelance project to develop an e-newsletter for the Eritrean mining sector to promote investment. I am currently studying for an MA in Education and International Development at London University (Institute of Education).
