C4D Focus/Experience

I am a development communication professional with specialisation in community communication, empowerment of rural communities and community development project building & support. I am also teaching Media, Culture and Society and Research Methodology at Graduate Level. I have a consistent track record in management of rural community support projects including project building and support, M&E, developing national level programming including mass media and interpersonal outreach tools, programme monitoring and evaluation using rights based programme approach.

Role

At present I am finishing a PhD study on Community Communication and Empowerment of Rural Community at Anna University, Chennai, India. Beginning my PhD study in 2007 I am working as freelance consultant. My job profile includes working with government, international NGOs and Corporate sector in South Asia.
