C4D Focus/Experience

Expert in the use of media for social change, with experience in southern Africa, Germany, India and Colombia. I have advised educational projects on planning and M&E approaches, audience-engagement strategies and facilitated long-term capacity development and change management processes. I have researched, written and produced several documentary films. The use of documentary films for social change and education are special interests of mine and I was part of the founding teams of the Lesotho Film Festival and MUICA (Muestra itinerante de cine africano). I was a partner of film production company Global Eyes Production. Currently, I am working as an internal advisor to a network of community radio stations in Ecuador, a collaboration between the GIZ and DW AKademie.
