C4D Focus/Experience

I am a professional in Social Communication and Journalism, and I have been working for the past five years in the creation of communication strategies and digital content for private, non-governmental and public organisations. My interest in Communication for Development (C4D) has driven me to diverse projects related to ICT and communication for social change. For instance, I organised the Colombian stage of Transparency International's first global anticorruption hackathon; and I helped to set up an SMS pilot campaign to promote health care in early childhood, during a research project that aimed to consolidate social networks of knowledge. I intend to continue my career in the C4D field, especially in public and NGO sectors, as well as in collaborative projects.
