C4D Focus/Experience

I have two main foci of interest: the functioning of agricultural innovation systems and in particular how farmers and other actors access, exchange and use knowledge and information to inform innovative behaviour; and the strategic use of communication for development purposes by a range of actors, from civil society organisations to national governments and international development partners.

University of Reading, UK, where I direct the MSc in Communication for Innovation and Development and oversee the Livelihoods PhD programme within the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development
